Learning Electricals
January 28th, 2012
Steve, a former student who had stayed on to become a workshop technician, ensured that all the materials and tools were kept in the right places and to hand for the various assessments and was a very encouraging and reassuring presence when the pressure of an impending practical drew near. I found that the balance the three of them struck, between serious study and a bit of light-hearted relief, was pretty much spot-on. There were also three other instructors, Alan, Mark and Richard Hallam, who, although not assigned to teach us on our 2330 electrical courses, were always only too happy to give their slant on the more difficult concepts of electrical theory that some of the students struggled to grasp at first.
