Exploring San Antonio

July 29th, 2011

San Antonio has more than just beautiful history. This place is one great tourist central. People are visiting from around the world and the city is ready for them. Put aside all those wonderful monuments, historic sites and buildings and have a fun night out. San Antonio has so many great places to be at. When night falls, and temperatures get more bearable is the real time to escape your riverwalk san antonio hotels.

During the summer night the Riverwalk is the place to see. Thousands of people visit the cafes, night clubs or simply walk by the San Antonio river. There are so many places here that everyone’s taste is satisfied. My favorite is Dirty Nelly’s Irish Pub, there is always something interesting happening here, the food and service are ok and is close to the san antonio hotels riverwalk. The riverwalk never gets boring, you can take a night boat ride, it is quieter on the river, but it is not for me I am not one of those romantic souls.

San Antonio has its fair share of art. It has many art, galleries, museum and even large complexes that display everything from Avant-garde, bold, contemporary, modern but also traditional San Antonio works.

Artists express themselves throughout the city. From the architecture to sculptures that are found in the parks and the Riverwalk to the biggest art complex here, the blue star contemporary art complex. They are blending in just right and are giving the city really sophisticated look. If you are a fan of art, there are great pieces that you can enjoy here. The Mexican influence is shown even in the art, so expect it especially in the traditional art works.

Architecture is uniquely designed to fit the history look of the city, there are many riverwalk san antonio hotels that look like they were built decades ago. I guess that making a new hotel blend in takes some serious architectural skills.
